Right from the first phone call, we received friendly, professional service and Lynley worked with us to find a time that suited for someone to come out and give us a fixed price quote. When Ben came out, he listened to what we wanted and recommended some options to suit our needs. We are so happy with the work that Ben did and how clean and tidy everything was left. We were also grateful for the upfront quote as this made it easy to budget and there were no hidden charges or nasty surprises. We recently booked Ben to attend to a plumbing issue with our tank. I received a confirmation email for the booking as soon as it was made, this also indicated I would receive a text 30 mins prior to the arrival of the plumber, this allowed me to organise my day and didn't mean I had to wait and wonder what time he might arrive. On the day I received a text indicating arrival in 30 mins, Ben arrived 30 minutes later as indicated. Ben presents really well, he was in a uniform so I had no concerns about letting a stranger into our home. Ben reviewed the issue, found a solution, tidied up and was very professional and efficient. Long story but my dad had a heart attack & was in hospital. I visited his home to collect some belongings & found his kitchen floor under water with additional an leak in the bathroom. I was recommended by Ben at Rydeau by Blueline Plumbing after they were unavailable to fit me in last minute Firstly the receptionist at Lynley absolutely lovely. Hearing the worry in my voice she squeezed me in last minute with Ben. He arrived fast, fixed all the leaks and explained what he had done. I found both Ben and Lynley to be warm, friendly, honest and professional. Dad was so happy with the work and he’ll use Rydeau for any future work. Highly recommend them🥰 ~ Jem J

Ben and Josh arrived this morning (17, January 2025) a bit early - which was great given that the appointment was for 7:30am. Very professional and completed the plumbing repair within 20 minutes or so (maybe faster!). Kept informed throughout the initial booking through to the lad's arrival and was not disappointed! Was only late to work by 30 minutes (thank you Flex time). I can highly recommend Rydeau Plumbing. I cannot easily explain the value of a company that keeps its promises for appointments and also exceeds with communication, quality of work, friendliness and professionalism. RP does that. I recently contacted Rydeau Plumbing when we got a massive water bill due to a leak somewhere in our system. The location of the leak wasn’t easy to identify so Ben organized an acoustic specialist (Barry) who did an amazing job to pinpoint the location. I didn’t even know about this skill! I’d already dug up 1/2 the garden looking for the source and Barry found it in about 20mins! After that Ben came by and fixed the problem (a broken joiner). All this was just before Christmas. Rydeau Plumbing were great. Had a domestic rain harvesting system that had never worked since I owned the house. Ben quickly diagnosed the issue, explained that there were two options to resolve the issue, one cheaper, one dearer, and the pro's and con's of each. Quickly followed up with confirmed quotes and available dates to carry out the work. The administrative support from Lynley ensured I also knew the status of the parts for the job, and times Ben would be on site for the job. Strongly recommended Rydeau. Oh my. Had an issue with an upstairs bath that leaked into the garage below and through the electricals. I'd made the mistake before of calling an "emergency" plumber (call centre out of Melbourne) and got charged like a wounded bull. Acted on a recommendation to try Rydeau. Contacted them on Sunday and Harrison lobbed first thing on the Monday. (Indeed, he rang to say he'd be earlier than arranged. Yay.) While there I got him to fix a roof leak too. He explained everything. Showed me the problem. Great young bloke. Hopefully won't need them again, but will certs go back to Rydeau if the need. Thumbs up. ~ Stuart J

Ben and the team did the plumbing for our new pool installation and they were great. They were really clear about costing, came up with good suggestions, were always super polite and professional. They texted to tell us who was coming and when. They liaised directly with the pool company to sort out best timing so that they could work together seamlessly. And the end result is excellent. It’s a really neat job and they left everything in a better state than they found it! We had used them before for a much simpler job, after a strong recommendation from a friend of ours, and found them to be very good then as well. Highly recommended. ~ Janet G

We moved to Murrumbateman 2 years ago and have had so many plumbing problems at our new place.. we’ve used Rydeau and Ben for every single job and wouldn’t even consider using a different plumber. Their service and workmanship is second to none and no job is left unfinished or unfixed! Ben and Lynley run the most amazing service, communication is impeccable and Ben really takes the time to both get to know you and your needs but also provide you with high quality work that needs to be done. No job seems to small or too big for Ben and Rydeau plumbing and they have sorted us every single time. I’ve used plenty of plumbers throughout the years at various properties but wouldn’t use anyone else other than Rydeau they really are a cut above the rest. I’m sure we’ll have more plumbing work for Rydeau and Ben in the future and he’s always our first point of call and always the plumber we recommend to everyone else in the community! We called Rydeau Plumbing because water was seeping out of the ensuite doorway between the waterproofing and floor tiles. Ben arrived on time, identified that the water was coming a poorly installed toilet. Ben supplied and fitted a new toilet in a very timely manner. Ben eliminated the stress of us having to buy a suite that would fit the existing plumbing. It was a delight to deal with Ben and his wife Lynley. Rydeau Plumbing have been our go-to plumbers for the last few years for any of our domestic plumbing needs. Living in a home whose latest renovations are ~30 years old, many of the once well functioning and reliable elements are end of life. First saw Dan - on my roof - when he was called in by the Body Corporate for insurance work. Really responsive, despite me thinking he may not be bothered with a small job, given he does big jobs like roofs. But no, nothing too much trouble. Changed my tap in a trice and tidied everything back into the cupboard below. (Thinking I must get him to train my boys!) Quick response, very personable and efficient. ~ Andy G

The team at Rydeau Plumbing were fantastic! We were without hot water just before a long weekend and with small kids, the friendly lady (sorry I can’t remember her name) was on it straight away and arranged for one of the team to swing past on their way home that day. Harrison came out and found us a temporary solution for the almost dead system until the new one could be installed. Both Ben and Harrison were fantastic to deal with. Really down to earth and explained everything to us along the way. When it came to selecting our new hot water system where were given two very different quotes (in terms of price) but Harrison pre warned us and took the time to explain to us the difference between the systems and their benefits. After getting all the details, we went with the more expensive unit and couldn’t be happier. We have gone from a $700 per quarter bill for hot water (just hot water!!!) to the current unit which has been in for 4 months and so far cost us nothing in running costs. We had Harrison attend to complete some plumbing work at my mums property this morning - absolutely wonderful and so easy to communicate with. He explained things in a way mum could understand, no question too big or small and took time to walk her through everything. Harrison came to quote for installation of a new water outlet at the side of the house for our new home heating system. He was punctual, professional, and was able to complete the job on the same day, to an excellent standard.
